Mauri and Jenna are participating in the Susan G. Komen cancer walk for the cure again this year, in November of 2009. If you can PLEASE donate even just a few dollars to the cause, it would be greatly appreciated... THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
On October 6, 2009, Darla Colton passed away after fighting a tough 3 1/2 year battle against breast cancer. We love our mom and find joy and peace knowing that she is no longer suffering and that we will be able to be together again some day through the sealing power of the Priesthood. Darla had a strong faith in our Savior Jesus Christ and in His plan for us. To learn more about the faith that gave Darla her courage during her fight with cancer and throughout her life, please visit www.lds.org or www.mormon.org.
CANCER COUNT
Often I am asked about the level of cancer in my body. With that in mind my daughter Jenna suggested I have a banner listing the cancer indicator each month. Every person has cancer cells in them so consequently a healthy person will have an indicator of 35 (which is my goal). I will update this list each time I have testing done to give you an idea if the cancer is increasing or decreasing.
